What to expect
natural This excursion is for the people who admire the charming ancient Berber villages and the picturesque Ouzoud waterfalls. The famous waterfalls of Ouzoud are one of the most amazing attractions in Morocco, and considered as the highest waterfalls on the North of Africa (more than 1000 ft.) situated in the Middle Atlas East of Marrakech. It is only about 3 hours drive away from Marrakech but it doesn’t matter because when you get there, you will be amazed by the beautiful view. Your journey will start in the morning. At 8 am we will leave Marrakech, and on the way to Ouzoud we will stop at Demnat, a small charming town, including an old Mellah (Jewish quarter) where an important Jewish community settled in the early 12th century. In addition, Demnat is surrounded by olive groves, that produce Morocco’s best olive oil, and it is also surrounded by beautiful mountains and close-by attractions, including the natural land bridge Iminifery, and the Ouzoud waterfalls. On the arrival, you will enjoy the amazing view of waterfalls, that because of its beautiful nature and view, it enables you to refresh your mind, find the peace inside you and let go of the city’s noise. Then, you will be taken to a nice small traditional restaurant, to eat a delicious Moroccan meal with the view of the waterfalls. Later, you can also take a boat and get closer to the falls or hang around the place where you find little cute monkeys to feed them; play with them or take pictures for them. At end of the day, we will drive back to the Red city Marrakech.
